A mobile application that facilitates connecting skilled workers with potential clients and those who require technicians for their business.
Problem Statement
Tradespeople or technicians have a difficult time when it comes to getting the proper income they deserve. They usually work for companies that often exploit them by paying less or not assigning work properly. On the other hand, we have people who are willing to offer work and are looking for honest and hard-working individuals for the job.
Solution
We made TEKK connect people directly to skilled tradespeople so that they get what they deserve. We are trying to help the tradespeople by giving them an alternative way to connect with jobs instead of getting work via middlemen.

User Research
We use whiteboard discussions to help form our user flows and wireframes, utilizing both online and offline approaches to save time and effort. To determine the most effective information structure, we also employ the card sorting method, which helps optimize the usability of our app.
Once we consolidated our ideas, we sent out a survey to our target audience to gather quantitative data on their attitudes, behaviors, and preferences. Our survey was designed to be user-friendly and easy to complete. We received responses from approximately 30 participants, which helped form the foundation of our knowledge for the initial draft of the user flow and wireframe.
User Interviews
We conducted a total of 20 one-on-one conversations with users to gain insights into their needs, behaviors, and attitudes. The insights gathered from these interviews informed the design and development of our product. Based on the results, we consolidated the three best ideas and ultimately selected one final idea for further development.

The persona of each user was created to understand the pain points of the Clients and Technicians. Both users have different perspectives, therefore, this web app is trying to solve the issues for both users.
